"These
cards are beautiful, and as an artist, a gallery owner and someone who's
had family use the Loan Fund, it has been an honor to be involved in
this project."
Cliff
Turner, a donor of a painting in 2004
Speaking at the
launch, October 16, 2006
Description of the cards
The cards are sold in clear
acetate packages that include envelopes and 8 cards - 2 of each of that
series' images.
The
Greeting Card has the local artwork on the front and on the back
there is the artist's photo and statement, along with the Loan Fund
description. This year we are offering personalized inscriptions for a
limited time only!
This year's cards (Series G)
and Series E are inscribed with Merry Christmas and Joyeux Noel. Series
D, A and B are inscribed with "
Peace, Joy and Friendship" in both English and French. The inside of Series C is blank for longer personal notes which
can be used either during the Holiday Season or throughout the
year.
The cost for all packages is $12.00
plus shipping.

Thank you for supporting our
fundraiser
The Saint John Community Loan Fund partners with local artists
to create unique greeting cards that celebrate their creativity and
provide a revenue source to help us help others in the community. All proceeds after expenses go to
help us provide credit and support to people in our community - to create income,
build assets and get into decent shelter.
The set of
images for 2009 were donated by Rob Roy.
